A Claude Code relay that runs on a VPS and hands off to the next session
Published
How does this AI workflow work?
- Replaces: babysitting one coding-agent session on a laptop, which dies when the lid closes and forgets everything before the next session starts.
- What to connect:
- a VPS with tmux;
- Claude Code on a Max subscription;
- a project board reachable over MCP (Asana, Linear or Jira) that holds task specs and acceptance criteria;
- phone access via Termius or Blink.
- How it works: each session reads its task, records a baseline, commits and pushes, and gets a blind QA review from a second agent.
- It then writes a handoff log, starts the next named session, checks it is actually working, and only then closes itself.
- It stops and writes to the human when a decision is needed.
- Who it's for: solo developers and small teams running long agent work who want to steer from a phone without losing context between sessions.
